Business under the Corona Pandemic
– March 24, 2020 –
The Corona pandemic constrains the industrial business worldwide. Fortunately, the supply chains of Krytem are only affected to a minor degree so far – mainly by deficiencies concerning the supply of electronic components from the Asian market and by cargo delays due to the intensive border controls. Accordingly, we will continue our production but we request your understanding that some delivery delays will apply which are beyond our control.
We have re-organised our workflow to facilitate work from home for parts of our office staff in order to block the infection chains and to keep our business operative. Further action has been taken to provide for social distancing within our premises: the staff present in our offices and workshop has been reduced to the reasonably necessary minimum and various measures provide for sufficient distance between individuals in our office and workshop.
Face-to-face business contacts and travelling have been reduced to the inevitable minimum and we contact our service clients to discuss the postponement of any deferable maintenance action by our experts to a later time this year. Our managment team reviews the situation and development on a daily basis and we are ready to take additional measures if necessary.
We strive to keep our service engineers available for urgent requirements in medical and homecare gas installations in order to contribute to the medical gas supply for the treatment of heavily affected patients. We kindly request your understanding that our workshop service for the repair and refurbishment of medical oxygen pumps will be handled with priority while the increased global requirement for medical oxygen lasts.
Our management and service team remain available by the usual means of communication.
In addition we will be pleased to provide supplementary service support and offer business meetings online e.g. by Skype or Hangout.
